St Albans City Women lost 4-2 at Harpenden Town on a Sunday afternoon at Rothamsted Park. Sophia Amanor’s hat-trick and an Ella Mercer goal won it for the hosts, who led 2-0 inside 25 minutes before Grainne Kellett pulled one back on the stroke of half time and Freya Perkins levelled five minutes into the second half. Harpenden went back in front with ten minutes left and added a fourth in the last minute.
